Our Values
All work within ‘LeadChange’ reflects a set of values which drive how MISPA operates, why we undertake work and who we work with.
These values provide a base line from which others can judge the quality of our activities and manner in which we conduct our work. This is especially important when dealing with people and communities.
We aim to understand the communities in which we work by building positive relationships through mutual trust and respect. These sentiments are expressed through a core set of values that underpin all of our work:
- Reflecting knowledge
- Expanding capacity
- Enabling practitioners
- Learning from the community
- Sharing good practice
We would recommend others to consider developing their own values and adopt ways of promoting their importance within their practice.
